MOISTURE-ABSORPTIVE POLYESTER FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fiber giving clothing product having extremely comfortable wearing feel due to excellent moisture-absorbing durability and moisture-releasing property thereof by subjecting a polyester fiber mixed with a specific polyoxyethylene-based polyether to a weight-reducing treatment. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. aromatic polyester is mixed with (B) 0.2-30 pts.wt. polyoxyethylene-based polyether of water-insoluble non-random copolymer type expressed by the formula [Z is organic compound residue containing 1-6 active hydrocarbon with <=300 molecular weight; R<1> is >=6C (substituted) alkylene; R<2> is H or 2-40C monofunctional acyl, etc.; (k) is 1-6; (l) is integer making kxl>=70; m>=1] and having 5000-16000 average molecular weight to obtain a polyester composition. Then, the fiber obtained by using said composition is subjected to a weight-reducing treatment to afford the objective fiber having >=3wt.% moisture absorption at 20 deg.C temperature and 92% relative humidity.
