A laser beam printer apparatus (20) has a fan (22) for driving air from intakes (218) through a predetermined area within the apparatus. A toner containing member (11) is adjacently located with the air intakes for containing remained toner particles from an imaging operation. An inside contamination preventing mechanism (30) comprises a cover member for covering an opening of the toner containing member to prevent toner from floating in the intake air whilst guiding air to flow to said area.
