PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency of a device and the customer service and reduce troubles of a clerk of a banking organ or the like by providing a banded bank note collective storage box and a detector to hold down the stop of device operation for supply of banded bank notes to a minimum. CONSTITUTION:Banded 1,000-yen and 10,000-yen note storage boxes 21 and 22 and a banded note collective storage box 26 are provided in an automatic money receiving and paying machine for the purpose of storing banded notes for every denomination, and marks indicating denominations, quantities, and total amounts of money are given to bands of banded notes. Banded notes are supplied through a detector 32 on a basis of a signal from a detecting means (a) indicating that the remainder of banded 1,000-yen notes is smaller than a prescribed quantity or a signal from a detecting means (c) indicating that the remainder of banded 10,000-yen notes is smaller than a prescribed quantity. That is, a banded notes are sent to a carrying path 27 from the storage box 26 by feeding rolls 31 in accordance with the detection signal, and marks are detected and read, and the supply processing corresponding to denomination is performed. Thus, the operation efficiency of the device and the customer service are improved, and troubles of a clerk of a banking organ or the like are reduced. |
