PURPOSE:To automatically generate a unique name when procedure parts are fetched for plural times by serial number-controlling the number of fetch-times for procedure parts, giving the controlled serial number as the unique name and developing a program. CONSTITUTION:When a user gives the instruction of fetching the procedure parts after the procedure parts are displayed on a screen, a program generation part 13 displays a template 16 on the screen. The template 16 reads the serial number or all the serial numbers from a fetching number table 17 as to the name of an item which is instructed to generate the unique name in accordance with definition in the procedure parts so as to display them. When the user gives the instruction of the execution of fetching the procedure parts, the serial number or all the serial numbers which are designated in the name of the item of the procedure parts by definition are set and are developed on the program 15. Consequently, the correction work of the name of the item by the template becomes unnecessary and a program generation processing can be made efficient.
