A tube-gripping collar which comprises at least one circular metal strip which surrounds the tube, the two ends being fastened one upon the other. One of the ends has a double bend 6,7 which firstly forms a part 8 facing outwards and then a part 9 facing rearwards. The other end 14 of the strip extends above the folded part 9, these two superposed parts having mutual fixing means 10 and corresponding openings 12 to 17 which allow the passage of a tool for bending the pipe 9 around the bend 6 for the collar to grip on the tube. <IMAGE>
