<p>PURPOSE:To execute an initial operation even when particular reproducing, etc., are performed during reproducing by calculating a residual reproducing time based on a bit of time information of a magnetic tape to be outputted by a reproducing part and a set reproducing time and controlling each part accordingly. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette half is inserted into a loading mechanism 8, the mechanism 8 is controlled by a system control part 14 to start reproducing the magnetic tape. Subsequently, the residual reproducing time is calculated by a residual reproducing time calculating part 12A based on such time information as a control signal recorded on the tape and reproduced by the reproducing part 9 and the set reproducing time set by a time setting part 10, etc., and is outputted to a residual reproducing time display part 13A and the control part 14. When a residual reproducing time zero signal is outputted by the calculating part 12A or an end detecting signal is outputted by a tape-end detecting part 5, the reproducing part 9 is controlled by the control part 14 to rewind the tape, and the cassette half is unloaded. By this method, the initial operation is executed even when particular reproducing, etc., are performed during reproducing.</p> |
