<p>A lacquer coating is applied to a laminated metal composite forming a sliding element such as a plane bearing and has particles of solid lubricants incorporated therein to form islets of greater thicknesses than the surrounding film and which serve as lubricant-trapping surface formations. The particles may be of polytetrafluoroethylene, fluorinated graphite or molybdenum disulfide and the lacquer is preferably an epoxy resin-based lacquer.</p> |
