The invention relates to a registration plate arrangement for vehicles, boats and similar objects equipped with a registration plate holder (2) fixedly attached to the object. According to the invention the plate (1) is made invisible when the object is not being used. This has been achieved by means of an electro-optical cover means (5), known per se, placed in front of the plate (1) and that is arranged to normally be non-transparent, for example opaque, but when a voltage is connected to two electrodes of the cover means (5) is arranged to be transparent. |
