<p>PURPOSE:To impart a silk fiber cloth with dustproofness and antifouling nature by providing a silk fiber cloth modified with an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble epoxy compound etc., with a specific treating liquid followed by heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A silk fiber cloth (a woven fabric, knit or nonwoven fabric containing >=50wt.% of silk fiber based on the whole weight of the cloth) modified with an aqueous solution containing (1) a water-soluble epoxy compound (e.g. ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether) and (2) a catalyst (e.g. alkali metal salt of sulfuric acid) is imparted with pref. 0.05-15wt.%, based on the cloth, of a treating liquid containing (A) a water- and oil-repellent processing agent having in one molecule perfluoroalkyl group as side chain and polyoxyethylene group and (B) an antistatic agent [at the weight ratio A/B=(9:1) to (4:6)] followed by drying and then heating treatment at 120-180 deg.C for 10sec-3min, thus imparting the silk fiber cloth with dustproofness and antifouling nature.</p> |
