Lamps are incorporated in the form of a ramp which can be set against the direction of travel. On the carriage are also batteries for feeding the lamps, and a feed control arranged in a compartment. In order to prolong the battery life between chargings, a current supply unit in the form of a solar cell panel is fitted in the top edge of the sign, and can have an effect e.g. of 100 watts. The solar cell panel may be turned to positions in order to achieve max. input from the sun. For alignment of the panel, a measurement instrument is incorporated in the feed control which measures the panel effect output. The adjustment can be fixed so that the warning sign can be left in position, with both the batteries and the solar panel supplying energy to the lamps. @(Provisional basic advised week 91/45)@. |
