Procedure for obtaining (+)-7-(3-amino-1-pyrrolidinyl)-1- (2,4-difluorophenyl)-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-1,8- naphthyridine-3-carboxylic acid and salts thereof

摘要

It consists in subjecting (+)-7-(3-amino-1-pyrrolidinyl)- 1-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-1,8- naphthyridine-3-carbonitrile to a hydrolysis process in an acid medium, at temperatures between 70 and 125 degree C in an inert solvent medium, and isolating the desired compound by the conventional methods. The product obtained has interesting therapeutic properties as an antibacterial agent against Gram-positive and Gram- negative organisms.
