<p>PURPOSE: To make possible an effective treatment of vascular contraction or the like by measuring using a sensor the number of heartbeats of a patient before and after the treatment, and adjusting the frequency of a signal generator according to a change in the number of heartbeats during a progress after the treatment. CONSTITUTION: A treatment head 1 is connected to a processor 2, and the processor 2 includes a signal generator generating a plurality of signals having a desired waveform and frequency. The processor 2 controls the treatment head 1, determines time treatment time of acoustic waves to the body of the patient, and also determines the intensity of the acoustic waves, the desired intensity and the treatment time being imparted to the processor 2 from a keyboard 3. A sensor 4 supplying a measurement signal to the processor 2 in order to measure the number of heartbeats of the patient is provided, and the number of heartbeats is measured within a predetermined measuring time before a treatment and within a predetermined measuring time after the treatment. Therefore, the treatment and diagnosis can be performed using various parameters of the patient.</p> |
