PURPOSE:To apply the system to every kind of shape description language that is CAD by reading out a parameter name from a parameter table storage part, and detecting a parameter in shape description data. CONSTITUTION:Inputted shape description data and parameter table are stored in a data storage part 11 and the parameter table storage part 12, respectively. Next, a parameter detection evaluation part 13 reads out the shape description data from the data storage part 11, and also, reads out the parameter name from the parameter table storage part 12, and detects the parameter included in the shape description data. At such a case, the parameter detection evaluation part 13 performs the detection of the parameter based on the parameter name stored in the parameter table storage part 12, thereby, the parameter can be detected in spite of description language or data structure. In such a way, this system can be applied to every kind CAD.
