<p>This invention consists of a feed actuating system, used in some types of wood processing machinery such as: circular cutting machines with multiple blades and self-acting feed, planing machines and similar equipment. The feed actuating system comprises a DC electric motor, a reductor and an electronic speed controller, all allowing for a self-regulation of the motor speed in accordance with the engine shaft torque resulting from the feed forces.The speed controller ensures adequate voltage and amperage for the motor to work within the best process parameters. It also protects the feed motor and the main drive motor.This invention can be implemented in any wood processing machinery with self-acting feed.</p> |
