A multi-purpose identification tag holder (10) is provided. It can be used as a free standing item or applications which it is attached to a product. The tag holder is particularly convenient for use with shoes. It comprises an elongate member of sheet material which is divided by means of a transverse fold line (12) into an information supporting portion (14) for supporting or carrying a tag (22) containing product information thereon and a mounting portion (16) for supporting the tag holder on a support surface or on a product. The information supporting portion (14) is provided with a pair opposed retaining members (18) for either alone or jointly retaining a product information tag (22) on the information supporting portion (14). The mounting portion (16) is provided with a resilient flap (20) on a surface thereof for receiving part of a product to which the tag holder is being attached between the flap and the surfaces of the mounting portion. |
