PURPOSE:To switch back even a curled sheet without being bent by mounting a press member to press other part than a pressed part when the sheet is pressed by a sheet press means to a given spot of the press means. CONSTITUTION:A turn-over roller 2 is mounted to an arm 1 serving as a sheet press means. When the rear end part of a sheet X fed through a conveyance passage 16 is separated away from a conveyance roller 9, the arm 1 is moved downward, and the sheet X is reversely fed in a pressed state to a reverse feed route B. A plateform resilient guide 3 is mounted to the under side on the free end side of the arm 1. The plateform resilient guide 3 has a notch formed in its central part, in which a spring 33 is suspended, and a turn-over roller 2 is rotatably supported on the spring 33 serving as a shaft. Thus, when the sheet X is positioned in a turn-over position Y, it is pressed by the turn-over roller 2 and the rear end part of the sheet X is also pressed by means of the resilient guide 3. Even when the rear end part thereof is curled, the curl is straightened, and the occurrence of a jam due to collision of the sheet with the conveyance roller 9 during reverse feed is prevented. |
