PURPOSE:To make warpage properties and bending properties at the time of heat favorable, by a method wherein thermosetting resin is infiltrated into high-strength glass cloth made by making sue of a glass fiber having fixed tensile strength, dried, an obtained prepreg is lamination-molded and a laminated sheet having a fixed thickness is formed. CONSTITUTION:Thermosetting resin is infiltrated into high-strength glass cloth made by making use of a glass fiber whose tensile strength at the normal temperature is at least 450kgf/mm<2>, dried, an obtained prepreg is lamination-molded and a laminated sheet having a plate thickness of not exceeding 0.6mm is obtained. Since the tensile strength is improved by about 36% at the normal temperature and 40% at a high temperature as compared with an ordinary glass fiber and also the tensile modulus of elasticity is improved by about 16%, especially rigidity at the time of heat is high. The thermal expansion coefficient is reduced by about 44% and the softening point is improved by about 16% in relation to heat resistance. Although epoxy resin or phenolic resin is available as the thermosetting resin, epoxy resin is preferable to display sufficiently a merit of the high-strength glass cloth. |
