The invention relates to a pushchair/car seat for a child, having two functions: pushing along the road or conversion into a car seat for a child to be placed on the back seat of the car. The basic design is to make a pushchair composed of a seat with a rectangular steel frame (1) suspended from a chassis (2) with castors by two detachable arms (3) by virtue of a wing-headed screw (thumb-screw) (4). This frame consists of three flat steel branches (5) and a fourth branch (6) which is a tube with holed ends. The frame of the seat has two wings (7) for protecting the child and a pad (8) is placed on this frame with its two padded wings. The fourth branch is a tube which has edges pierced with holes in order to contain a rotating tube which also has edges pierced with holes belonging to the back of the pushchair. The system of extendable arms makes it possible to extend or shorten the arms of the pushchair in order to push it along the road, or to place this pushchair as a car seat for a child comfortably on the back seat of various cars. <IMAGE>
