摘要 PURPOSE:To deflect the air flow at a wide angle without lowering the air flow rate by controlling adherence of air flow to a guide wall so as to deflect the air flow. CONSTITUTION:A vane group 8 is constituted to control adherence of the air flow to a guide wall 10, and upper and lowe deflection wings 9 deflect the air flow upward and downward. Guide walls 10a and 10b for causing the air flow to adhere thereto start in the vicinities of end faces 2a and 2b of a cross flow fan and from an inside point S, and are formed ina gradually enlarged shape. In the case where vanes 80a and 80b and 800a and 800b are inclined toward the guide walls 10a and 10b, an air stream (a) adheres to the guide wall 10a by the action of a concave surface L1 of the vane 80a, and blows. Further, since the an air stream (b) adheres to a convex face R1 by the action of a concave face L2 of the van 800a and flows because an interval H of the vanes is made smaller than the length l of the chord of the vane. Similarly, an air stream (c) adhere to a convex face R2, and flows. These streams adhering to the convex faces of these vanes adhere to the guide wall 10a this time, flow out by deflecting at a wide angle (deflection angle theta is 60 deg. or more).
