<p>PURPOSE: To correctly move a key even in the case of a large temperature variance of a wind instrument by press-fitting plastic bushes into a rod and inserting metallic pins to bushes so that it can be rotated on posts and attaching and holding the rod of a key between two posts projecting from the instrument main body. CONSTITUTION: Two posts are stood on a wind instrument main body 1, and balls 2 are made at terminals of posts. A rod 3 is rotatably attached between balls. Cylindrical cavities 9 are formed in end faces of the rod 3, and plastic bushes 10 are fitted to them. Chips 11 of screws are inserted into bushes 10, and barrels 12 are engaged with corresponding screw threads in balls and are attached. Balls 2 are heated at 100 to 300 deg.C for 2 to 25 seconds. Plastics are softened to become bearings 14 which firmly grasp the side faces of chips 11. By this constitution, the jey is accurately operated regardless of a temperature variance of the wind instrument, and a fear of emission of unexpected erroneous sounds is dissipated.</p> |
