The invention relates to compounds of formula: <IMAGE> in which: R1 and R2 denote, independently of one another, a hydrogen atom or else a carbamoyl group of formula: <IMAGE> with R'3 denoting hydrogen or R3; an alkoxycarbonyl group of formula: <IMAGE> or an acyl group of formula: <IMAGE> in which R3 denotes an alkyl, alkenyl or cycloalkyl radical; R3 can also denote an aryl or aralkyl radical; R denotes a linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl radical substituted by one or a number of halogen atoms, and to their use in the treatment and prevention of hair loss and in stimulating its regrowth.
