The drain for a bathroom floor consists of a cup shaped vessel (10) embedded in the bathroom floor. This cup has a plug-in inlet pipe in the form of an elbow (33). The cup outlet is formed by a short outlet pipe (13) with a spherical external surface (14). This spherical surface fits inside a connecting pipe (23) which can be swivelled in any direction relative to the connecting pipe. This feature enables the pipe to be easily connected to the house drainage system.
