14 : It is known to provide packing openings such as bag mouths with closing strips having interengaging profiled portions enabling the packing to be reclosed. Also known is to effect a peel seal welding with the use of special materials, as a guarantee for "not opened before". According to the invention it has been found that it is perfectly possible to provide a strip material, which is not only peel seal weldable, but also integrally formed with profiled portions for reclosing, whereby both types of closing can be used in an easy manner. The strips, despite being of peel seal weldable kind, are strongly weldable to preferred, normal packing materials, because they are coextruded as sandwich strips having a base layer of a fuse weldable material. The strips can be applied to almost any kind of packing wanted to be openable and reclosable in this manner.
