Process for decorating extruded aluminium sections combining two coatings, the first based on polymerised lacquers and the second on colour anodising. The aluminium is first prepared using alkaline degreasing agents and then neutralised in a phosphate bath. Lacquering is performed in a cabinet using electrostatic equipment and robots which spray powdered paint, with subsequent passage through a polymerisation stove at 180 to 200 degree C, part of the coating being subsequently destroyed, and colour anodising being performed through the preparation of degreasing, neutralising and dewatering baths and placing the sections in a water and sulphuric acid electrolyte through which a direct current is passed producing a porous anode layer, followed by dewatering and colouring of the sections in a 10% ammonium-iron salt bath at a temperature of 50 degree, completing the process by sealing in a nickel sulphate and water bath at a temperature of 30 degree. <IMAGE>
