PURPOSE:To form joint parts of lined steel pipes which are excellent in the stability and durability, by injecting a filling resin into a space formed by steel pipes butted to each other with a prescribed clearance, a joining ring installed to cover the clearance, and a core inserted into the steel pipes. CONSTITUTION:Linings 2 at the end parts of two lined steel pipes 1 are appropriately removed, and their end faces are butted to each other with a prescribed clearance. A joining ring 3 is fitted to cover the clearance. The joining ring 3 is welded to the steel pipes 1 in such a way that the ring 3 does not contact with the pipes 1, and welded parts 4 are installed. Thus a welded joint is formed. Then, a core 5 is inserted into the joint and the core is swelled with a fluid pressure P. Thereafter, a filling resin 7 is injected through a resin port 6 into a space formed by the joining ring 3, the clearance at the end of the steel pipes 1, a space at the inner surface of the steel pipes 1 from which the lining is removed, and the outer surface of the core 5. The core 5 is taken out from the steel pipes 1 after the resin hardens by releasing the fluid pressure P in the core 5. |
