The invention relates to junction boxes, projecting or flush-fitting, which are intended to connect together electrical wires belonging to separate ducts (conduits). According to the invention, the box in question is characterised in that it includes two communicating compartments placed at right angles to each other. In the flush-fitted version, the junction box is made of a single piece (1,2) and includes three removable transverse walls (3).
