PURPOSE:To eliminate a dosage measurement error which is caused by a noise and a meteorological change by finding the area of the plane figure surrounded by the logarithm of a counted value in a partial time area, the coordinate axis for a representative time, and a characteristic line indicating their linear functional relation ship. CONSTITUTION:While radiation is detected 1, a measuring instrument 9 puts a time analyzer 5 in operation for a measurement time and uses counted values N of pulses obtained by all counting means to display 6 the measurement relation between the logarithm LogN of the counted values N and the representative film Tr set previously in the partial time area on the screen of a CRT 7 as the characteristic line 8c of an orthogonal coordinate system which has coordinate axes of LogN and Tr. Then a straight line (dotted line in graph) corresponding to a straight line part 8a indicating that the logarithm LogN of the counted values and the time Tr and in linear function relation is found and the area S of a triangle 10 is found on the screen of the CRT 7 to remove the measurement error which is caused by the electric noise appearing as a nonlinear part 8b on the characteristic line 8c and the meteorological change, thereby obtaining a highly accurate radiation dosage measurement result.
