The invention relates to a device enabling one operator, alone, to pass conductors or cables into a routed conduit for electrical ducting. This wire-pulling device is equipped with a "stop-go" mechanism actuated directly (that is to say without remote control) due to the thrust of the conductors in the conduit and stopped (still without remote control) as a function of the magnitude of the tension of the conductors engaged in the conduit. As the conductors exit the conduit, the device stops immediately, without intervention of the operator.
