PURPOSE:To supply a proper quantity of an adhesive substance at all times without being subject to the effect of an environmental change, and to adjust the feed rate of the adhesive substance by controlling the quantity of the adhesive substance adhering on one electrode in response to the effective width rate of pulse voltage. CONSTITUTION:When a section between an electrode 1 and an electrode 2 is supplied with an adhesive substance 3 and the electrode 1 is turned in the direction of the arrow A under the state in which voltage is not applied, the adhesive substance 3 adheres on the circumferential surface of the electrode 1 approximately uniformly as a layer. When pulse voltage is applied between the electrode 1 and the electrode 2 by a power supply 20, the adhesive substance does not adhere on the electrode 1 when the potential of the electrode 1 is brought to a negative value to the electrode 2, and the adhesive substance adheres on the electrode 1 when the potential difference of the electrode 1 and the electrode 2 is brought to zero or the potential of the electrode 1 is made higher than that of the electrode 2. Consequently, the adhesive substance intermittently adheres on the circumferential surface of the electrode 1 in response to pulse voltage. As a result, when the rotational speed of the electrode 1 is kept constant, the effective width rate of pulse voltage is adjusted. Accordingly, the quantity of the adhesive substance on the electrode 1 can calmly be controlled simply without noises. |
