Heat-conductive embedding mix. - esp. for embedding heating system or solar collector elements

(A) In a screed, mortar or concrete mix with binders (e.g. based on cement, gypsum, resin or asphalt) and fillers (e.g. sand, gravel or chippings), esp. for embedding heat transport elements of floor, wall or ceiling heating systems or solar heat collectors, the novelty comprises addn. of small heat conductive bodies of silicon contg. 0.5-40 (pref. 3-30, esp. 5-15)% iron. (B) Also claimed are floor, wall or ceiling coatings or panels for a surface heating system, produced from the mix (A). ADVANTAGE - The mix has much improved thermal conductivity with slightly reduced heat capacity and is produced at only slightly increased cost compared with conventional mixes.
