COMPOSITION CAPABLE OF FACILITATING BONDING

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition capable of improving the adhesion between a polyester film and a layer provided thereon by mixing a solvent- soluble saturated polyester resin, a polyisocyanate, and a specified acrylate. CONSTITUTION:Terephthalic acid (a) is reacted with ethylene glycol (b) and a third component (c) comprising other aliphatic or aromatic dibasic acid or other alcohol component to give a solvent-soluble saturated polyester resin (A). Component A is mixed with a polyisocyanate (B) (e.g. a compound of formula I) and an acrylate (C) having at least two vinyl or isopropenyl groups (e.g. a compound of formula II) at a weight ratio of A:B:C of 100:(10 to 30):(5 to 50) to give the title composition. A layer of this composition is provided at least on one side of a polyester film to give an easily bondable polyester film.
