PURPOSE:To eliminate a phenomenum of a central blanking by developing with a specified developer and transferring a developed image on an electrostatic image carrier to the transfer material while a transfer means is abutted to the electrostatic image carrier through the transfer material. CONSTITUTION:An electro conductive transfer roll 2 abutted to a latent image carrier 1 on a cylinder rotating in a direction of an arrow A is provided, bias voltage is impressed by a constant voltage power source 8 to a core metal 2a, and pressing of the transfer roll 2 is normally carried out by pressing the edge part bearing of the core metal 2a. Here, the electrostatic image is devel oped by developer containing 0.05 to 3 parts weight of fine powder processed with silicon oil or silicon varnish for toner 100 parts weight, and the developed image on the electrostatic image carrier 1 is transferred to the transfer material while the transfer means 2 is abutted through the transfer material to the electro static image carrier at more than 3g/cm linear pressure. Thus, even when trans fer material such as a thick transfer paper is used an image of high quality without central blanking can be obtained. |
