Lift shaft for passenger lift - has glass panes supported in steel frame

The passenger lift-shaft has its walls formed from panes of glass (20) which are supported in a steel frame. The steel frame is constructed from four uprights (16), one at each corner. Each upright is made from square section tube. These uprights are connected by horizontal angle sections (18',18''). Angle sections (18) are also fixed to the square tubes by bolts or welding. These angles are used to support the glass panes (20) which are clamped to the angles by clamping strips (26).
