摘要 <p>A multiple-stator synchronous induction motor which is started as an ordinary induction motor and then switched into synchronous operation when the rotational speed becomes close to the synchronous speed. The motor includes a plurality of stators (21, 22), an integrated rotor having rectifier circuits (33, 34) and rotor cores provided with rotor conductors (31, 32), static magnetic field generating devices (40) that generate static magnetic fields around the rotor cores, and voltage phase-shifting devices that generate voltage phase differences of 0° and 180° between the voltages induced at the rotor conductors. At the time of start, a circulating current flows between the rotor conductors with the voltage phase difference of 0°, so that the motor starts as an ordinary induction motor. During the steady-state operation, the voltage phase difference is switched to 180° and the static magnetic field generating devices are energized, whereby an alternating voltage induced by the static magnetic field is rectified through rectifying circuits, the direct current flows into the rotor conductors to form magnetic poles on the rotor cores, and the rotational speed is pulled into the synchronous operation owing to the attraction by the above magnetic poles and the rotary magnetic field established by the stators.</p>
