<p>Cosmetic formulations have activatable dormant pigments dispersed in an anhydrous base or vehicle. Shear forces applied to the cosmetic formulation following application to the skin causes activation of the dormant pigment thereby releasing the pigment and giving the original color of the anhydrous base or vehicle renewed intensity or a 'long wearing' effect.</p> |
