<p>PURPOSE:To average the power consumption and also to stabilize the operation of a microprocessor by shifting the action timings with each other among microprocessors. CONSTITUTION:The CPU 1 and 2 serving as the microprocessors use a common power supply E and have the same constitution of peripheral circuits and the same internal action timing to the input clock signal CLK. Then the signals CLK produced by a clock generator 3 are supplied to the microprocessors with the phases shifted with each other. Thus it is possible to average the power consumption and also to ensure the stable operation of the microprocessor.</p> |
