Protective fillet (1) for the application of plaster during connection to a building element (3) of different material, the protective fillet being composed of plastic, having an approximately U-shaped cross-section with a lateral protective tab (4) which can be broken off manually via a notch, and having an adhesive tape (2) for bonding to the building element.
