The present invention relates to a device for binding a skier's boots on a board for sliding over snow (1), such as a monoski or a snowboard. This device is characterised in that the means (9) for elastically retaining the boot-holder plate (4) consist of a clip comprising two jaws (21, 22) mounted pivotably on the boot-holder plate (4), stressed towards each other by a spring (25) and arranged on the boot-holder plate (4) so as normally to project into the central opening (18) of this plate and so as to be able thus to grip between them the two opposite bearing protuberances (11, 12) of the centring base (8). <IMAGE>
