PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of gaskets and to prevent the application of unnecessary force on solid-plate-shaped polarizing electrodes by using the solid-plate-shaped polarizing electrodes for polarizing electrodes, and using insulating rigid bodies for the gaskets. CONSTITUTION:Metal cores 32 and 42 are arranged in gaskets 30 and 40. The outer surfaces of the cores are surrounded with insulating rubbers 31 and 41. As a result, the whole is rigid with insulating property although the surfaces have elasticity. Such constitution can be readily manufactured by insert molding. Since the gaskets 30 and 40 have the metal cores 32 and 42, the mechanical strength is increased, and the gaskets are not deformed by minor force. Therefore, solid-plate-shaped polarizing electrodes 61 and 71 are protected from breakdown. |
