<p>PURPOSE:To keep humidity in a box within a certain range to save power consumption by providing a humidity sensor in a box and controlling the output of a DC power source so that the output of the sensor comes to have a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A control device 2 is housed in a box 1. In a humidity adjusting element 32, porous thin film shaped electrodes 5, 6 are bonded to the opposite sides of a hydrogen ion conductor 4 composed of solid electrolyte, whereby the element 3 is attached to the box 1, with the electrode 5 facing the inside of the box 1 and with the electrode 6 facing the outside thereof. Further, DC voltage is applied between electrodes 5 and 6 of the element 3 by means of a DC power source. A humidity sensor 10 is provided to detect the humidity in the box 1, whereby the output of the DC power source 7 is controlled so that the output of the sensor 10 comes to have a predetermined value. As a result, the humidity in the box 1 can be kept within a certain range and power consumption can be saved.</p> |
