<p>PURPOSE:To display a simultaneous notice message received from a center at a terminal without disturbing the tasks carried out at the terminal by storing the information showing whether an area is set or not on a display screen of the terminal for display of the simultaneous notice message and transmitting this message to the terminal where the display area is defined by reference to the stored information. CONSTITUTION:A screen control table 1 of a terminal consists of the terminal identification information 2, a definition bit 3 showing whether an area is set or not for display of a simultaneous notice message, and request bit 4 showing whether the simultaneous notice message is already transmitted or not. When the simultaneous notice message is sent to the terminal from a center, it is first decided whether an area is set or not at the terminal for display of the simultaneous notice message. Then the notice message received from the center is displayed in the due area of the terminal where this area is set. Meanwhile the notice message id displayed at the terminal where the display area is not set yet when a due process is through. As a result, the simultaneous notice message received from the center is displayed at the terminal without disturbing the tasks which are under execution at the terminal.</p> |
