PURPOSE: To make the thickness uniform by arranging a pattern nucleus printed foil in the cavity of a mold having a volume corresponding to the volume of a card and then closing the cavity of the mold and further, filling the cavity of the mold with a synthetic resin material to be injected through an injection opening. CONSTITUTION: A pattern nucleus printed foil 30 is arranged in such a state that a decorative layer 36 is set facing an injection opening 22 and is accurately and appropriately aligned to a cavity 16, and a second mold part 14 is tightly brought into contact with a first mold part 12. Next, a specified amount of synthetic resin is introduced through an injection duct 20. In this case, the pattern nucleus printed foil 30 is tightly applied to the inside profile 40 of the cavity 16 in the first mold part 12 in such a state that no creases are present. Consequently, possible pores (air holes) to be generated in the pattern nucleus printed foil 30 are closed. Thus it is possible to have the upper face of a card smoothed and also develop a good bonding between the injection amount of the synthetic resin and the decorative layer 36 for the card. |
