The window ventilator comprises an insert consisting of two side strips (1) joined by a horizontal middle one (2). This is clamped into position between the outer frame (4) in the roof or wall and the inner one (3) tilting on a horizontal axis. Each side strip is in the shape of an isosceles triangle, one of the equal sides protruding beyond the inner frame towards the lintel (5), at which point it is secured to the middle strip, preferably detachably, by screws.
