The disc milling cutter (1) for adjustable cutting widths has a basic body which consists of two discs (2, 3) which each carry claw-like lugs (4, 5) which are provided with indexable inserts (6, 7). This arrangement is made in such a way that the lugs (4) of one disc (2) engage like a clutch in a chamber (13) between two lugs (5) of the other disc (3), in which arrangement the axial distance between the two discs (2, 3) is adjustable and can be maintained by interchangeable spacers (14, 17) which can be designed as rings. The cutting width can thereby be changed with only very little effort. ……
