A conveyor system driven by linear motor, comprises a linear motor body (9A, 9B) mounted on the conveying car (1) which is supported and guided by a right and left pair of guide rails (2A, 2B) the rails forming the secondary conductor assembly (30, 31, 32) of the linear motor. The wheel contacting face of each guide rail (2A, 2B) is used also as the secondary conductor assembly of the linear motor, and the linear motor body (9A, 9B) is arranged opposite to the wheel contacting face separated by a specified clearance. This configuration facilitates keeping constant the clearance between the linear motor body (9A, 9B) and the secondary conductor face on the guide rail, to ensure safe, efficient drive of the car (1). <IMAGE> |
