A powder mixture contains 5-25% by weight of binder and 95-75% by weight of comminuted natural rock and a fines fraction below 20 mu m. In this case, it is desirable to reduce the long-term compaction of the top layer. This is achieved if the binder consists of 30-70% by weight of quicklime and 70-30% by weight of pozzolana, the maximum grain size of the binder being 1.6 mm and that of the natural rock being 2 mm, and the fines fraction below 20 mu m amounting to at most 2% by weight. As a result of the selected binder and the set grain size distribution, water permeability is ensured over a prolonged period while maintaining repeatable consolidation by addition of water.
|
