<p>PURPOSE:To concentrate and dehydrate a slurry-like sludge in a short time, economically and exactly by adding a flocculant to the slurry-like sludge and coagulating it into lumpy aggregates. CONSTITUTION:A slurry-like sludge 21, to which a flocculant 23 is added, is continuously supplied through a supply port 2 into a flow-type agitation tank 1, wherein the slurry-like sludge is turned into lumpy aggregates. The lumpy aggregates 22 of the sludge are calmly dropped and supplied onto one end 8a of an endless moving filter cloth 8 through a supply pipe 10 attached to a discharge port 3 at upper part of the flow-type agitation tank 1 together with a supernatant water, made cake-like while transported to the other end 8b by the movement of filter cloth 8, scraped off by a scraper 14 and discharged out of a water tank 7.</p> |
