PURPOSE:To reduce the initial investment with less processing step, simple work and no use of a heater or solvent by a method wherein flat items to be packed are placed between lengthy packing films coated with cold sealant, and the films are simply pressed and sealed around the items to be packed. CONSTITUTION:Polypropylene films 1a1 and 1b1 coated with cold sealant are wound around supporting rollers 2a and 2b respectively, and fed between pressing rollers 3a and 3b. On the other hand, magazines are placed on the polypropylene film 1b1 and sent between the pressing rollers 3a and 3b by transfer rolls 10 to press and stick the longitudinal edges of the films by the pressing rollers 3a and 3b. After that, the films are pressed between the magazines and sealed by one set of press 7a and 7b. Then, the films are cut by a cutter 9a in the middle of the sealed portions between the magazines. Then, the transfer rolls 10 are moved and the same steps are repeated.
