The pressure regulator for vehicle brake systems has two parallel control pistons (2,3) in a housing (1), acted on by a common actuat-or. The actuator consists of a sawing distributor element (6), in a recess of which a load pin (5) seats. The tapered end (7) of the load pin has a smaller section than the distributor recess (8) and a contour such that as the pin is rotated w.r.t. the distributor, the tapered end to recess clearance varies. USE/ADVANTAGE - A simpler design, allowing the distributor deflect-ion to be equalized for both control pistons.
