PURPOSE:To reduce the optical transmission loss by coupling an optical connector including an optical element connected to an optical fiber rotatably with a main body part for substrate packaging with a coupling pin. CONSTITUTION:The optical connector 1 made o epoxy resin where a light emitting element 3 and the optical fiber 4 are inserted partially is coupled with the main body part 2 made of epoxy resin for substrate packaging by the coupling pin 5, and the optical connector 1 can be changed in direction to the main body part 2. Further, the main body part 2 is fixed to a substrate 6 by a lead 7, annular lead contact parts 8 centering on the coupling pin 5 are provided on both flanks of the optical connector 1, and the lead 7 of the main body part 2 is brought into contact with the lead contact parts 8 electrically to couple the light emitting element 3 of the optical connector 1 electrically with the substrate 6 through the lead 7 of the main body part 2. Consequently, the optical transmitting / receiving module for the optical transmission link prevents the optical fiber 4 from twisting, the optical coupling loss is reduce, and the optical connector 4 is prevented from breaking. |
